Solid Waste Management Permit Application Fee

A set fee is assessed for all solid waste management facilities when they apply for their required permit.


What it is
A set fee is assessed for any solid waste management permit activity. These include: municipal solid waste landfills, industrial waste landfills, construction and demolition waste landfills, fossil fuels combustion ash disposal landfills, compost facilities, materials recovery facilities, delisted hazardous waste disposal landfills, and transfer stations. Permit application fees apply to new facilities, major modification to an existing facility, and renewal of the permit for an existing facility.


How the fee is used
This fee is used to support the operating costs of the Integrated Waste Management program.
