Kraft Pulp Mills -  Subpart BBa

Applicability: Subpart BBa - [ecfr.gov]

This subpart applies to:
  1. Affected facilities at kraft pulp mills that commence construction, modification, or reconstruction after May 23, 2013.
Affected facilities:
  1. Digester systems
  2. Brown stock washer systems
  3. Multiple-effect evaporator systems
  4. Recovery furnaces
  5. Smelt dissolving tanks
  6. Lime kilns
  7. Condensate stripper systems
In pulp mills where kraft pulping is combined with neutral sulfite semichemical pulping, this subpart applies when any portion of the material charged to an affected facility is produced by the kraft pulping operation.
