Phosphate Fertilizer Industry: Triple Superphosphate Plants -  Subpart W

Applicability: eCFR Subpart W [ecfr.gov]

This subpart applies to:
  1. Triple superphosphate plants with a design capacity of more than 15 tons of P2O5 feed per calendar day; and that commence construction or modification after Oct 22, 1974.
Affected facilities:
  1. Mixers;
  2. Curing belts (dens);
  3. Reactors;
  4. Granulators;
  5. Dryers;
  6. Coolers;
  7. Screens;
  8. Mills;
  9. Facilities that store run-of-pile triple superphosphate.

Standards apply to fluorides.
