This subpart applies to:
- Affected facilities in metal surface coating operations that commence construction, modification, or reconstruction after Jan 5, 1981.
Affected facilities:
- Prime coat operations;
- Finish coat operations;
- Prime and finish coat operations combined when the finish coat is applied wet on wet over the prime coat and both coatings are cured simultaneously.
