Emission Guides for Small Municipal Waste Combustion Units -  Subpart BBBB

Applicability: eCFR Subpart BBBB [ecfr.gov]

This subpart applies to:
  1. Small municipal waste combustion (MWC) units that commenced construction on or before Aug 30, 1999.
A small MWC unit has the capacity to combust at least 35 tons/day of municipal solid waste, but not more than 250 tons/day of municipal solid waste or refuse-derived fuel.

If the existing small municipal waste combustion units commences modification or reconstruction after June 6, 2001, then the small municipal waste combustion unit becomes subject to NSPS AAAA.

Physical or operational changes made to an existing municipal waste combustion unit to comply with this subpart are not considered modifications or reconstruction.
