Site Summary:
This site is located along the Elkhorn River in Stanton County. Ground water averages about 32 feet below the surface, and this remediation will be for free product cleanup only. NDEQ became aware of this site in late 1991 due to closure of UST's. The site status was changed to "orphan" in late 2002 and the site was activated. During the Tier 1 investigation, free product was detected.

Site Specifications:
1. Free product cleanup only.

2. Mrs. Hoehne would like a call from the Contractors before you visit the site.

3. There will be an auction for the property inside the building on April 8, 2006. No work can be performed during that day.

4. As you may have noted, the Village of Stanton did allow RDG to install wells on edges of the streets to the West and South of the building. You will need to check with the Village to see if that policy will continue for remediation. The street island just South of the building may be a canadidate for well location(s) also.

5. This site is not a canadidate for overexcavation.

6. There is a good location on the East side of the building for a remediation trailer with 220 power near by. Please work with Mrs. Hoehne for an exact location.

7. There is a newly installed SVE/AS system one block East of this site at an RP-led site.

8. Mrs. Hoehne wants to sell the property some time in the future. The new owners will be informed that a multi-year cleanup will be in progress.
