Notice is given to the public, according to Chapter 14 of Title 129 - Nebraska Air Quality Regulations, that the Department is proposing to issue a Class II operating permit to Great Dane Limited Partnership (FID#47178) for the operation of a truck trailer manufacturing facility (Standard Industrial Classification code 3715) located at 1200 North Centennial Road, Wayne, Nebraska. The potential emissions of regulated air pollutants (in tons per year (tpy)) at this facility will be: 7.22 tpy of Particulate Matter (PM), 7.22 tpy of PM ≤ 10 microns (PM10), 1.31 tpy PM ≤ 2.5 microns (PM2.5), 0.10 tpy Sulfur Dioxide, 80.46 tpy Oxides of Nitrogen, 14.12 tpy Carbon Monoxide, <100 tpy Volatile Organic Compounds, <9.5 tpy of any individual Hazardous Air Pollutant (HAP), 24.5 tpy total HAPs, and 19,184.01 tpy Greenhouse Gases CO2 equivalents (CO2e).

Wayne County meets the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for those pollutants subject to a NAAQS and is expected to continue in that status. Wayne County is unclassifiable in regard to the state Total Reduced Sulfur (TRS) standards and no significant impact on these standards is expected from this project. No impact is anticipated on habitat for any rare or threatened species.
